As one of the prime length "offenders" I have two special words for that person, but they have a point that the length *could* be part of the challenge. Written topiary, or something.
The Great Write Way, Chapter Two: Twice upon a time...
A place for Buffistas to discuss, beta and otherwise deal and dish on their non-fan fiction projects.
I think one of the nice points about this challenge, as conceived, was that Teppy's stated format allows either the concentration on the drabble aspect in its pure form - as a writing discipline - or on the topic aspect: the content.
I write both. Shall continue to do so.
Dude, I'm so bad. When I feel moved to wqrite a drabble, I think "short" and that's it. I think I did word count for maybe the first three drabbles I did here? And then I...um, didn't.
Sometimes I forget, but sometimes the longer ones are better anyway and I appreciate Tep not being Word Count Sheriff. Even if she is just on her way to Australia.
I dunno, Erika. I'm getting retroactively angered by the not adhering to 100 words bit.
Everyone! 100 words! No more, no less! Or...or...else?
I enjoy sticking to the 100 words, but I don't see why someone would care about the word count of others.
Ahem.
When I am drabbling, I write 100 words.
When I'm moved to write about the theme, I write what I need to write.
Until such time as someone offers to pay me by the word, the Counting Nazis can bite me.
Nerny, nerny, nerny.
Neener.
Or, what Deb said.
Oh, dude, Deb, I just laid down the LAW! You are so eating those words!
All 100 of them.
(Hee. I just picked a fight with Deb! RUMBLLLLLE!!!!)
Or, what Deb said.
