Not having has never been the thing I've regretted most in my life. Not trying is.

Thanks, Beverly.

Felt a bit lumpy, but it's giving me some things to think on for future, so that's a reasonable ROI for a hundred words.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

No new topic?

Because books.

Tep? I feel a need to drabble, and I completely blanked on masks. You want some possibilities?

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Oh, dear god. Sorry! No, I have a topic. Give me a minute....

Challenge #81 (masks) is now closed.

Challenge #82, also in the spirit of the season, is trick[s] and/or treat[s].

Oooooooooooooooooooh!

Probably not until tomorrow (out of town for five days=GAH! SHIT PILED UP!), but I like this challenge, I do.

Tricks and/or Treats Drabble:

He wasn’t her favorite trick. Shit, none of them were that. Once, one of them had been kind, and bought her breakfast over on Eleventh, but that was a fluke. Never happened again.

This guy, though, was a regular. He deserved a few snaps just for the ready cash. But his needy, groping hands? Made her shudder, when he was gone and she was rearranging herself, wiping his smell off her skin. Difference was, much as she loathed the sight of him coming, she was grateful. She knew what to expect from him. And that was enough of a treat.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Oh Amy, what a gut punch. Powerful and visual and ouch.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

That's a trick and a treat in and of itself, Amy. Thanks for sharing it with us!
