Well, I do that a lot...I should have never tried to write anything while reading "Bridget Jones". It was painful. Had to kill it.
'Trash'
The Great Write Way, Chapter Two: Twice upon a time...
A place for Buffistas to discuss, beta and otherwise deal and dish on their non-fan fiction projects.
I'm not in general, but Jack looks a good bit like NF, to the point that in Susan's Unreal Happy Fantasy World, NF would be my cover model instead of the bland, cheesey hunk of romance beefcake I'd inevitably get IRL. So he goes Mal on me in a hurry if I'm not careful.
Does Jack have darker hair? In my head (and maybe there was description I've read that put it in my head) Jack is a little shorter, his hair is darker with somewhat more wave than NF's. His eyes are blue, but he has the same sort of features that NF has--that is to say he's a similar type.
Lighter hair, actually, more of a chestnut brown verging on auburn, and just as straight. He is shorter, for sure, and his eyes are light brown.
My other hero, James, had wavy black hair and blue eyes, though, so that may be whre that combo got into your head.
Maybe. Actually, probably. But I think I transferred it to Jack when I read that passage you sent me--the one where the woman gives birth, and Jack and Anna meet. That's Jack and Anna, right?
Yep, that's them.
Finished third editing pass on my book! Yay me.
Go, erika!
ERIKA!! Deb took me to the Marina Safeway!! Walking through her gate felt like walking into 28 Barbary Lane, I swear it.
Minus the transsexual.
Unless Deb's hiding something....
That's bitchin, Aimee.
