Wash: Psychic, though? That sounds like something out of science fiction. Zoe: We live in a space ship, dear. Wash: So?

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

HOORAY for cool support.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

HOORAY for cool support.

HOORAY for cool woman writing kickass book about fandom being a new form of modern non-linear family.

Why is it that I can write a book, but not a bio? The fuck? WHO AM I?

Susan W. - Jul 14, 2005 8:03:49 pm PDT #3132 of 10001
Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Bios are much harder to write than books. They're like synopses that way.

Focus on your involvement in fandom. Describe the first thing that drew you into it, and talk about the events/campaigns you've been part of. Imagine what would go on the "About the Author" section of your book's dustjacket and write that.

Dear god, I cant do it. I genuinely have nothing to say about me.

Hey now. None of that. If I can do it, you can do it.

I have faith in you.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Allyson, get someone to do it for you, then you do one for whoever (or take them out to dinner). That's the only way I've ever gotten them done.
