I just said that you're pretty. Even when you're covered in...engine grease, you're... No, especially, especially when you're covered in engine grease.

Because books.

I'd never really heard the name Bree either, except in one manuscript submission I received long ago, in which it was spelled like the cheese.

headdesk

But I like the name -- I named a character that once myself, long ago.

Oh, poor Bree Walker.

Always Anti-fascist!

Yeah...Bree Walker. And when the lovely Ms. Walker had kids...America had, well, a shit fit. Because Bree's well, claws, are genetic. And How Could She? I think she had one with the disorder and one without.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Chapter Sixteen finished and sent. Only an epilogue left to write.

It's done.

I finished R&RNF. Nic's reading the epilogue and I'll send shortly.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Whoa is right, Deb!

I know.

Meep.

My house is about to be untenanted. Of course, whatever edits, and then I start thinking about begging for a beginning to end WIP read-through, and while that's on, I get to start considering what I want to do for the second book, other than the vague idea....

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Wow. That's amazing, deb. Good on you.

Aaaand, I think my house is about to be retenanted. I now have the bones of the second one fleshed out in my head: from this point on, any time you see WMGGW in my posts, you'll now it's because I'm too damned lazy to type "While My Guitar Gently Weeps."

In which I get to bump off someone else I cordially loathed in those days, or at least, the fictional avatar therefore.
