Lorne: Once the word spreads you beat up an innocent old man, well, the truly terrible will think twice before going toe-to-toe with our Avenging Angel. Spike: Yes. The geriatric community will be soiling their nappies when they hear you're on the case. Bravo.

'The Cautionary Tale of Numero Cinco'

Spike's Bitches 22: You've got Angel breath

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

(small amount of ~ma for MM today. He is at the new job and I haven't heard from him. He was really nervous this morning but was to die for in his shirt and tie.)

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Fast-healing-nose~ma to Emmett.

I'm wondering how the heck you put a cast on a nose, but I'm sure however it's done it will be a wonderment and fascination to all the kids at Emmett's school.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

Don't stress too much, David. They're just fixing his nose, not cutting into his chest.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Perkins! I didn't get a tamarind ball!

Oh no! We will have to get Aurelia to set you up.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Work-ma to MM. And Nose-ma to Emmett.

Always Anti-fascist!

Aw...{{Hec}} (I know you're not fond of a promiscuous bracket, nor I of giving them, but I haven't the words today and it's just momentary softness anyway.) (Socks Hec in arm.) Is that better? I feel grateful I missed the surgery loop that many friends were on. And sad that that stuff wasn't more efficacious.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Cindy, I'm betting he'll be fine. Standardized testing is frustrating.

In some states (can't remember which ones, but at least one of the ones we lived in), the testing "mattered" in certain grades, such that a child couldn't pass to the next grade if he or she hadn't passed the test.

Gud, you have lovely children and that's some great photography.

Cash, you'll love it. Kara is a mad Flea fan now and we had a lovely time at the museum. The dinosaur bones were definitely my favorite. No, meeting Flea and her husband and her husband's parents and the sweet little Casper girl were my favorites. The bones were my second favorite.

Here are a couple of (largish) pictures. [link]

I don't know how Flea feels about pictures for the whole world to see, so it's friend's locked. If you want to see and don't have an LJ, let me know and I'll make it happen.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Massive speedy-recovery-ma to Emmett. Scary I know, but you should help him look at this as a positive. I had my appendix out when I was 13, and the hospital experience ended up being a good one. Subsequently, I don't have a big fear of going under the knife when it's necessary.
