Timelies! I've just got home from a lovely brunch with my father, brother and nephew (the daughter was a no show.) Afterwards, we traipsed over to the local botanical garden where we saw snowdrops in bloom, but not much else. We saw new buds on the cherry trees, but no blossoms yet. The pussy willows were all pussied out, though! I bought a potted pansy and picked up a form to sign up to volunteer in the rose garden. Now, I'm home and wanting more company, but no one around, sigh.

Back from the doc with a fistful of antibiotics and pain killers. It's a hernia. She says he needs to get the inflamation down today and tomorrow and maybe tomorrow we will take some pictures and make decisions about when to have surgery. Drat.
This puts a real cramp in his style. He plays ball 4-5 times a week and does macho lifting type stuff regularly.
