[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

AWW! ChiKat. That is schmoop of the supreme first order of awesomeness. Yay.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Teacup Guy is sj's guy

Error! So sorry.

However, yes, to the sentiment. He's giving the high quality schmoop.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Heh; I was just about to say nonono, ChiNTeacupGuyNEVAH, but it's all straightened out now.

That is a completely swoony and creative and charming gift. He sounds like such a gem!

Heart and knee-ma to Cash's mom and brenda's dad, and I'm so very glad that the heart surgery went well.

Erkhhh. Lovely weekend full of Wonderfalls and good coffee and marital deliciousness and dressing up and good food, capped off with holding a scrunch-faced newborn baby until he drifted off to sleep, and now I am here at work after three solid hours of typing, facing a bare minimum of another four before the day is out, and my hands are whimpering like the weekend never happened. Stoopid not-weekends.

Punishingly Intricate

Happy late birthdays and happy anniversary Deena and Greg and good surgery and surgery recovery vibes for thems that need 'em.

I think I'm getting a cold. I feel like bleh on bleh toast. And as much as I love the pretty hearts and delicious candy aspect of Valentine's Day (while totally recognizing the Hallmarkization of it) and as much as I appreciate the great love of my friends and family I'm still feeling down about not having a boyfriend. Bleh! Stupid brain!

But somebody I barely know said very very nice things about my band's album on his blog today and my friend posted a comic he did of our 2004 Valentine's Day show. I'd heard he done it but had never seen it. [link]

I know!!!! I wish I was that cute in real life!

It's making me feel a little funny though that my friend drew my boobs. I know they're big and I often wear tiny shirts but I still blushed a lot when I first saw it.

What is even happening?

I became an aunt again!. My nephew, Josh, was born Friday. 7 lbs. 19 inches.

Yay! Welcome to the world, Josh!

Cashmere, that's good to hear about your mom. Also, Teppy is wise. As for the seekrit message...

I'm a board certified shitologist, doncha know. I once correctly diagnosed blue poop on the old threaded Bronze. The culprit? Blue Pedialyte. Of course, I also once called the pedi, because I thought Benjamin had coughed up blood. In actuality, it was only a little peanut butter and jelly. That second call to the pedi's office was a lesson in humility. Luckily, I got the receptionist with a sense of humor.

In mememe news, I managed to go to four stores today, to pick up Valentine's stuff. That may not sound like a big deal, but I've been store-shy since the anxiety increased a couple of months ago, and today is the peak day anxiety-attack-wise, in my cycle, so it felt like a victory.

It's not your stupid brain. Somewhere, a Hallmark executive is rubbing his hands evilly and cackling in satisfaction and glee.

Seriously, this holiday is all about preying on insecurity. Unless you're one of the "lucky" ones or some shit.

Although- cute- college boys are singing with flowers outside. Singing in general, not to me.

Also, was DX pulling my leg in Natter or did the seach function-y things under the posting box just show up today? I am tired and busy and somewhat harried and am not able to parse jokiness in posts.
