I've been at Parker's house less than a week and we've rescued an animal.
We were going to the Yoga studio and there was the cutest little westie bouncing around outside. We assumed his petter would appear from one of the shops momentarily-- no such appearance occured. We looked at his tag and it turns out that Wesley the westie lived a few blocks away and appeared to have made a break for it.
We took him home and it turns out he had slipped out the back gate without his humans knowing.
Our karmic reward was instantaneous as it was a house that Parker had long admired and was able to oogle up close upon return of the pup.
The end.
Awww, what a sweet story.
Awww, Trudy, that is so sweet. Especially the fact Parker got such instantaneous rewards.
t Waves at Parker, sheepishly.
I have been remiss in not saying "hi" whenever Trudy posted before. So, "HI!"
Absolutely, Jilli!
Oh, I love westie's. I'm glad you were able to take him home, Trudy.
We have no kitchen, dining room or living room windows.
However, the bedroom and bathroom ones are in.
I am indeed not dead, and in fact am beginning to feel quite human, though sad I missed out on some Teppy time. We are sitting around her place now, waiting for SA and watching Hush. (We saw Aimee!)
I do not serve nice wine. I would have had some, but had no clue what a nice wine might look like in its natural habitat. I am a wine philistine.
But you serve a kick ass egg sandwich. Also, you have cool kids.
Perkins, tell about the RocknRoll Hall of fame. Was it fun? Did you enjoy?
I did. Lots of cool memorabilia, and a nice clip show of all the Hall of Fame inductees.
Thank you.
I'm glad you're not dead and I'm assuming the wireless isn't either. Give SA a great big hug for me. I'm glad you enjoyed the Hall of Fame. I've still never been. It's on the list.
We may, however, get to hit the Natural History Museum with Flea and fam this weekend, depending on family stuff (they're up visiting in-laws). They (erm, the museum, not Flea nor Flea's in-laws) have dinosaurs, so I'm sure it will be a big hit.
I've rewritten this three times and it still makes little sense. I think it'll have to do.
You made perfect sense to me, Deena.
I have a splitting headache. This makes me sad, 'cause DX is supposed to come up and help me hang my curtains tonight. But, I don't think I'm up to it. I hope he gets my e-mail soon.
Laquer thinner is an AWFUL stink. I think I might be sick.
