I had a totally wacky 00's type experience this morning. About a week ago, I get this note from a guy that has a name that sounds like one of those names that, like, everyone might know somebody named this, that says "Oh, I'm cleaning out my e-mail." but rather than delete it, like somebody sane, I hold on, thinking "it'll come to me," but no, it hasn't. So I e-mail this man and say "I'm sorry, Larry. Where do I know you from?" Because I figure I must, because I don't put somebody in my address book till I do. He doesn't remember either. Who says you never get a second chance to make a first impression? (How old will I be before I stop trying to make a "How We Met" out of stuff like that?)

Spike's Bitches 22: You've got Angel breath
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Just talked with my creative writing prof and TA about the situation. My TA's response? "That's SO cool! You HAVE to write about that and get it published!"
Hee!
Mmmm, Lush. In Boulder, too. Even more excuse to go out and visit Nicole.
Timelies! I'm chipper. But, I'd probably be more chipper if the hospital hadn't called me at 8:30 to find out how I was feeling. Another half hour was all I really wanted. Ah, well. Such is life. If it hadn't of been them it would have been a telemarketer. At 9, I finally told the SBC Sales people to shove off when they called. You'd think that when someone ignores your calls for weeks straight, they'd get the clue you don't want to talk to them.
The mayor's being all a PITA about it, so you never know.
Well, he thought Ikea would be bad for Somerville, so what do you expect.
And where is the closest Trader Joe's to Salem anyway?
Vinnin Square - off of Route 1A - which is at the border of Salem and Swampscott. I'm farther away from it than I used to be, but it's still conveniently close by car. Now if only we could get a Whole Foods.

But... but... maybe he's just out of town. Right??
The Lush store in Boulder might be gone by Sept. You should come visit me sooner.
Jessica, did I mention that you inspired me to try the Eau de Rome? It's so lovely! And I thought of you, with your shortage of the Eau
Me too, on both counts. But why Eau Roma Water? Are they trying to give me an eye twitch every time I look at the bottle?
Now if only we could get a Whole Foods.
I'll trade you a Whole Foods for a Trader Joe's. We've got Whole Foods here and it does have quite a bit of good stuff. But I liked the Trader Joe's I went to in SF better than our Whole Foods.
You should come visit me sooner.
All good things come to she who waits.
Alas, Cashmere and Big O. aren't coming down for the Aquarium, b/c Mr. Cashmere is coming home earlier from his business trip than originally planned. (Well, that's "alas" for me, but not for the Cashmere family, b/c now they can get their Easter on sooner than they had planned.)
I'm eating oatmeal and sucking down coffee, and Perkins is probably busy breaking the B&B's wireless connection. She's going to mosey over shortly, and then we'll take the town by storm! Or, you know, hang out. SA should get here around 4:00 or so.
Well, he thought Ikea would be bad for Somerville, so what do you expect.
Did he? I thought that proposal died before he took over. But if it's the case, then, cool, the IKEA died, so maybe his noise making will bring the T? And then the IKEA.
See, my sources (Tom) told me there was a whole foods in Swampsott but no TJ's. But maybe I misremember.
Steph, is there a point to that post other than taunting?
Thought not.
I have no aquarium today. No Lee. No SA. No hanging with Tep. Also no day off. (I'll pause here to let you wipe your tears.)
