Did I share here that I've decided to buy myself an iPod (or something similar) if I make it to all of my classes this semester? It's a damn good motivator.
Maybe any leftover ma can be sent towards my father, who goes in for a knee replacement today and is mightily freaked about it.

As I was standing there trying to decide what to do, there was an announcement (that you can never understand...such horrible speakers!), and I caught "significant delays" at the end.
My first thought is that I hope it's not a Valentine's Day suicide. That may just be my issue though.

Heart ma for Cashmere's mom, and knee~ma for brenda's dad. My mom had that surgery last year. It's somewhat of a tough recovery, but in her case the post-op pain was so much less than her previous constant pain, that it went OK. She did too much afterward though, she's no good at resting and taking care of herself (nurses are the worst patients!)
