[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Um, hi! The end just sorta snuck up on me there.
I've already left parental sympathies for Hec in Natter but I'll say it again. Fast healing-ma to Emmett, and gut-easing vibes to his adults.
Hec, I just read about Emmett! Give him a huge hug for me. As worrisome as these things are for parents, you can bet your bottom dollar he's at school pointing to it and bragging about it. It'll wear off about the time he's, oh, 45 or so. I had to ask my Dad about his gold tooth as a kid, he no longer volunteered the information (he lost the real tooth to a hockey puck.)
Timelies, all. I'm sitting home starving myself nigh to death so that I will have a shiny clean colon for a colonoscopy later today. Nothing wrong with me, just having that first one done a couple years earlier than normally recommended since colon cancer runs in the family. I am going to pig out when this is over!
Also, job~ma to vw's mother.

Thanks. I think I'm more shook-up now then yesterday, because I don't have him here in front of me to reassure me that he's okay. So my brain is neurotically looping the accident, and I just see him screaming in pain, and his nose grotesquely swollen and distorted. Not so much his asides later about "Now I'm on the DL," or how he looked after the swelling started to go down.
