wow.
In order that I red the news: Susan, Deena, and -t, you are all in my thoughts. COnsidering my thoughts are all along the lines of fire-bad-tree-pretty these days, that means you get about 90% of my total brain power.
Is it only Tuesday?
And fie on someone not calling meara back. That's just WRONG like a WRONG thing.
Smoking. I love smoking. I do not love being a smoker. (and I am not A Smoker) I am happy that being with Tom makes me smoke less, as I too would subsist on twigs and berries to steal time to be with him. I do love having the occasional cigarette though. I'm even decreasing those few over time. It's a symptom of my general self-destructive behavior, and I'm feeling less and less self destructive as the weeks and months pass.
blaaaaaarrrggghhhhh
Don't suppose you're likely to be going by a mailbox this afternoon...
Nope. Sorry. Just woke up from my nap. And the only way it'll go out today is if I came up with the energy to walk all the way to the post office.
In other news, Bastet just decided to get all cuddly and friendly. Sweet, silly cat.
I'm really sorry, -t. Losing a pregnancy is devastating.
Is she cuddling with you? Is she?
Nora, Yes.
She was. But now she has found the new pillows and is lying on the arm of the couch. She's so damn cute. (I took pictures. Again.)
It occurs to me that the tragic Schiavo case may be the thing that breaks the neocons hold on the American psyche. Polls show that the majority of people think it's time to let the poor woman go. How many people are out there going, "I agree with most everything the president has done, but--this is too much. I don't want the federal government getting involved in my private life this much." It's a pebble bouncing down the avalanche-prone hillside of people's minds.
Interest in living wills is up, too. Might be time to chat with Hubby again.
Also, I am bored and sleepy.
If there is any good to come from that, let that be it, Connie.
Also, I am bored and sleepy.
Then come home. We'll have dinner and watch Gilmore Girls and surf the Internet. And you can marvel at the insides of a DVD player (although, not all that interesting).
Nevermind. Sounds like you'll still be bored. Stay at work where you can make money.
Connie, I tend to agree with you.
I'm gonna give it another half hour. At some point tonight I have to do The Reading (I've got four articles on using writing to teach math, and I need to pick one). What are you thinking about for dinner?
Mmm, dinner.
Anyone know of any purty dress sites?
