Spike's Bitches 22: You've got Angel breath

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Also, I knew a guy who was christened "Jimmie" who got quite touchy about the number of people who asked him about his "real" name.

The Social Register had a big fit about listing President Jimmy Carter under "Jimmy," even though that was his preferred name. I'm trying to remember, and I htink the only time he was called "James Earl" was when he was inaugerated.

(disappears in a haze of nostalgia for the pre-Reagan days)

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I'm a big fan of the formal name option. I was never supposed to be called Juliana - my parents called me Julie until I was 10, and then I pitched a fit and changed it to Juli. Then, at 17, I decided that that didn't fit me and I went to Juliana.

Hubby watched the special.

ALAPAHA, Ga. - A team of National Geographic experts has confirmed south Georgia's monster hog, known to locals as Hogzilla, was indeed real — and really, really big.

There are disagreements on just how big the beast was

Despite the dispute, this town 180 miles south of Atlanta has already adopted Hogzilla as its own. It went with a Hogzilla theme for its fall festival, with a parade featuring a Hogzilla princess, children in pink pig outfits and a float carrying a Hogzilla replica.

Mostly lurking...

Kristin, go you! I know this was a really difficult decision for you, and I'm glad that you were able to make it.

I'm getting the pig!

-t, I've been thinking about you all morning. A close friend of mine just went through almost the exact situation in January. If there's anything I can do - send you cartoons via email for a few weeks, recommend support websites, bake you cookies, whatever - just let me know. Profile addy is good.
