Spike's Bitches 22: You've got Angel breath

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I am at the reg desk of a conference. Blaaaahhhhhhhh. Everything annoys me, also am very paranoid about everything,

Dad stuff- oddly enough, though morbidly obese, my father has not had any heart issues yet

t knocks wood

I'm hoping if he has the bypass surgery then maybe he'll avoid badness in the future. He quit smoking over 20 years ago, and actually eats more or less kind of OK. But he's a big ole whiskey drinker. It has actually never occured to me to try to stop that behavior. Like, no way it will work to attempt.

I deserve a medal.

Or at least an iPod.

Why, you might ask? I made it through this day at school. I REALLY didn't think I was going to. I pretty much cried through my whole two-hour break, but I pulled it together. Now I'm home and sobbing, but hey, we can't have everything.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

{{vw}} I'm proud of you for making it through today. Much hugs and love for the crying.

Yeah, but your hair looks great, right?

I think your expectations for proper effort/reward will not be properly met within this lifetime.

Or, I'm wrong and you're going to get a shiny iPod for every day for the rest of your life.

Why are you crying, Ms. Bug? It better not be about homework.

Well, I'm hoping to buy myself an iPod at the end of the semester...if I don't miss any classes all semester long. Today was definitely one of those days where I stuck it out for the iPod. That's why I said that.

Why are you crying, Ms. Bug? It better not be about homework.

I think I'm just exhausted. Either that or I really shouldn't have decreased my anti-depressant to make it last the rest of the month. But, please don't yell at me for that. I'm trying. I really, really am. I just...sometimes... It's definitely not about homework, though. I'm all good in that department.

aw, {vw}. I would also like an iPod shuffle (the $99 thing) as a reward for getting through March-June without quitting or getting fired.

So, didn't you just love Camille?

I would also like an iPod shuffle (the $99 thing) as a reward for getting through March-June without quitting or getting fired.

Sounds completely reasonable to me.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Today was definitely one of those days where I stuck it out for the iPod. That's why I said that.

Now see, that's a reinforcement system that I think can work.

I think I'm just exhausted. Either that or I really shouldn't have decreased my anti-depressant to make it last the rest of the month.

Eeep. That may seem like the most practical solution, but experience in this thread alone contravenes the notion that cutting your doses is a good strategy. That's like a guaranteed meltdown.

But, please don't yell at me for that. I'm trying.

I'm not yelling. I just want to buy you drugs.
