but it wasn't about vampires.
No red capes or bitey-bitey. But them's vamps.

I don't see it. They were controlling others telepathically, not feeding off them. If there was anything resembling life force stealing, I don't remember it.
YVampMV, of course.
I like Dan Simmons Children of the Night for the sci-fi approach.
Seconded!
the original short (novella?) was really tight and creepy.
Loving JSw and -t right now.
The wireless thing must totally be my fault
Apparently Perkins is only the Nice One when she's IN LA. On vacation? NSM.
I have no idea if this is bad, good, to be expected, or what.
Anne, I've only purchased a home once, but it sounds fairly normal.

That's the idea I'm getting. The only thing that worries me is that the buyer (a first time homebuyer) sounds "panicked", according to my realtor. Hopefully we'll be able to smooth everything out and do/pay a bit less than they're asking.
Worst case scenario, I should still come out of this with enough to make the down payment on the house in St. Louis.
Vampires Anonymous is also funny and damn good. The movie is only about half as funny.
Ah, I knew I was forgetting some. Thanks, guys. I don't recall reading the Dan Simmons, which surprises me. I'm going to have to do some reading and re-reading.
Well, that's what I get for not reading reviews. Those are not my vampires, though.
(Love you too, Nicole)
