Gunn: You ready? Fred: Is no an acceptable answer?

Spike's Bitches 22: You've got Angel breath

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I'm getting the pig!

Nicole's wireless didn't work yesterday

Totally Perkins' fault, btw. Seems to be working fine now. La la la.

Whee! A Perkins sighting!

I went shopping today. I have bagels and orange juice, eggs (lots! for coloring! and eating) and bacon (canadian and regular) and cheese (but no swiss), yogurt, fruit, meatloaf fixings, a million vegetables, pasta, alfredo sauce in a jar, non-fat milk, and coffee pods. I am SO ready for a Perkins of my own.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Connie, we went to Cahoots and saw bumpy toys! We haven't been to the other places yet.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Nicole has a new tag.

There is still no email from the Girl. On the off-chance that she is out of town for the weekend or some crazy shit like that, I have been persuaded that I should wait until tomorrow evening before I call her on the phone.

In the meantime, I have just purchased a meschantes corset to be made for me, from eBay. This is not the cheapest way to work out my frustration, but...

Edited to change the subject (and perhaps sound less...something):

Gary Braunbeck, a horror author Greg likes, has asked his readers to name their 5 favorite vampire novels. I could only think of:

Dracula
the Anita Blake series
the alien vampires in Jacqueline Lichtenburg's two book set
P.N. Elrod
Chelsea Quinn Yarbro
Sunshine, by Robin McKinley
William Mark Simmons' Csejthe series
And the (imo) horrid serious (carpathians?!) or humorous romance novels.

There have to be more. What am I missing?

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Welcome, Mallory James! And husband of Raquel, that was some wonderful reporting. Feel free to come back anytime and post as yourself.

Wishing a fast and full recovery to Raquel. New baby! Whee!

Many happy congratulations to Mallory James, who is a very lucky child to have Raquel as his mommy.

(P-C, I meant good vampire novels.)
