Why is the Walk of Shame never as fun as you want it to be?
I LOVE the Walk of Shame. I always have to fight the urge to hang buckles of my bra back out of my pocket juuuuust a little. In college, if I showed up in the same clothes as the day before and nobody noticed I'd get pissy an announce it, "HEY! I wore this YESTERDAY!!!!"
The "go downstairs of shame" and have coffee with the sibling you just met the night before is like being in a Frasier episode. That's all those people DID.
I woke up and found there was snowfall last night. I love that. Now toss in that I'm in the Rockies for the very first time... thiiiiiis close to buying little round glasses and an acoustic guitar.
So it's like "Welsh rabbit," then? The Welsh were too poor to afford morons, so they pointed and laughed at carrots instead?
I enjoyed watching JM as a jewel thief last night. He has a flair for comedy, but we Bitches knew that.
moron" is Welsh for "carrot", and now Alfredo yells, "You Welsh carrot!" at idiot drivers.
Hehe. I like that. I may have to start using it. I'm running out of epithets for stupid drivers, so it's a welcome addition to my repertoire.
1) I think I'll start calling people Welsh Carrots. For some reason, all the academics I know get angrier about being insulted with a phrase they don't recognize, than with being called something they know.
Being refered to as a Welsh Carrot is therefore more offensive than saying "Even Freud wouldn't touch you".
and
2) Can you still call it the Walk of Shame if you really really like it?
Can you still call it the Walk of Shame if you really really like it?
Yes. It just becomes a kind of delicious shame.
Also, timelies all. It's sleeting here. Feh.
It's been too long, but, of course, not a Walk when I did it.
It's sleeting here. Feh.
We've got chilly rain, but no snow/sleet. Yet.
What happened to yesterday's weather? It was gorgeous and sunny and just cool enough to still be leather jacket weather. Can we go back to that, please?
Jess, I'm with you. The only silver linings I'm seeing so far are that there are only 11 days left in March and that the Farmer's Almanac says April is going to be summerlike with low precipitation. Pleaseberightpleaseberightpleaseberight.
I'm catching up an saw this saga: Scene: Sean's Wake (post 7820)
That would be an
