Well, the stylist went to took some length, but not all, off the back and softened the layers in the front. She took a lot of hair off, but it doesn't actually look that dramatic, it just looks very cute. The shortest layers at the front are at my eyebrows.

It was fun.

now we are listening to Divine Comedy and dancing around the spare room. (OK obviously we've taken a break)

I just got Greg to agree to try to buy a house within the next 6 months. I had to dig up all my old links on mortgages, first time buyer and grant programs and clear out the dead links. I found some cuties that we can afford on realtor.com. Now we just have to clear up one debt (to ease his concerns, mostly) so we're down to car payment and rent and can apply.

He wants a fireplace and a garage; I want a finished basement and a fenced yard. PUPPY! That's going to be the second thing we get, right after the house.

Here's hoping 6 months from now I'm not signing a new lease on this damned apartment.

And guess who's going to be hugging the Trudy-person in actual person this coming Friday? I'm quite a-twitter about it. It's the prize I'm holding out to myself for after this bizarro month.
