Inara: So, explain to me again why Zoe wasn't in the dress? Mal: Tactics, woman. Needed her in the back. 'Sides, those soft cotton dresses feel kinda nice. It's the whole... air-flow.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

G'night, Aimee.

I totally want a teleporter. Or at least a flying car.

We're off to NY to see Wicked today. I'm so excited! I don't even mind being up at this ridiculous hour on a Saturday.

Yay, vw! I'm excited on your behalf and can't wait to hear how you like the musical.

When I was at the spa the other day, another woman came in for a manicure. She had just seen it last weekend and told me how amazing it was and how much I was going to adore it. So, now I can't wait even more!

It's funny, 'cause I've wanted to see this ever since Hec told me it was being developed. I asked for tickets for my birthday last year, and that's what I got. But it's taken me nine months to actually be able to see it. The anticipation is killing me :) In some ways, though, I'm glad I've had to wait so long, because now I may actually remember it.

Yay for vw fun! I've spread out my birthday celebration a long time, but never 9 months.

Aidan woke me at 7:30 this morning. Bleah.

The store that advertised the pretty entertainment center did not have it. They had an ugly one they would have sold us instead, but we decided that it looked like it would make a very attractive climbing tool, so we passed. We looked at 4 stores; no luck. Instead, I ordered a couple of tall bookshelves from Staples for a ridiculously low amount and with free delivery. We're going to put one on each side of the fireplace and put the components on the top two shelves of the one that will then be nearest the TV.

The link to the bookshelves, in case anyone else is interested. The sale ends today: [link]

Evil store, Deena! I'm glad you were able to find something that will work, though. Those are great sales! Too bad I don't actually need any bookshelves right now :)

Ok...must get showered and packed.

Ok...it probably is more that we don't have room for anymore. But, we have pretty well made due with what we do have.

I have no more walls for bookshelves. This does not keep me from buying books.
