Spike's Bitches 22: You've got Angel breath
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Ginger, she didn't say. My impression was that it would have to be biopsied, but I didn't want to ask m-i-l too many questions. I don't know how they know the cancer is ovarian already. When b-i-l called m-i-l, my s-i-l wasn't even back in her hospital room, yet. It was right after the surgery.
Thanks, everyone. I'm sorry I didn't say so before. I appreciate it. I'm just distracted. I'm trying to get ahold of another s-i-l, and I haven't said anything to the kids, because it doesn't seem right to tell them, without dh, or before he even knows, because it's his sister. I am not going to tell him while he's at work, unless he specifically asks me. In fact, I think I will wait until after he eats supper, unless he specifically asks me. I have to go out tonight too. Shoot. I forgot all about that. Meanwhile, Ben's been talking to me about baseball cards for the past hour, almost straight.
Shit, Cindy. Not good news. Your extended family seems way too acquainted with these hospital calls.

It probably does have to go to a lab, so it will take a couple of days to get the full results.

Any cancer, they would take the surrounding lymph nodes to check for what stage the cancer is, that's routine. Since she's had cancer already, she probably gets screened regualrly, so the chances of this cancer being found early (like my mom's uterine cancer this summer-she is also a breast cancer survivor--if she hadn't been they wouldn't have been keeping such a close eye on her) are better than for a civilian.
I'm sorry, Cindy. I hope the evil stops soon.
