Played with Kaylee. Sun came out, and I walked on my feet and heard with my ears. I ate the bits, the bits stayed down, and I work. I function like I'm a girl. I hate it because I know it'll go away. The sun goes dark and chaos has come again. Bits. Fluids. What am I?!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

t sends kisses cross-country

(These kisses have my permission to stop at any and all Buffistas they pass on the way.)

Can anything beyond waiting (and, obviously, not being dumb enough to fall in the first place) be done for a sprained toe?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I can't recommend Sam highly enough. Sure, he's kinda scary, but he's pretty much the reason I am a teacher. He left LA to start this school, and he's sorely missed.

The one class I took from him made me wish I didn't suck/wasn't injured/wasn't worried about Alibelle who was trying not to puke, because I wanted to be able to do what he wanted me to. I couldn't, but he still impressed me.

I'm glad I have an office, because I am giggling imagining conversations at the Miracleborns between a Krav empowered 16 year old Emma, Joe, and the poor boy waiting on the porch for his date.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I wanted to be able to do what he wanted me to.

That's it right there. That's my response to Sam.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Ice. Taping it to the next toe. Swearing.

Compassionately intolerant

I first got interested in pursuing krav last year about this time when I first read about it here.

Time passed.

Now I'm something of a slug coming out of a winter coma. I'm not afraid of pain...but would it make more sense to 'get in shape' before attempting krav? Spin for a while first, perhaps?

I've just discovered that there are easily accessible classes at the DC JCC...so the motivation is high.

I can't even.

I can only be a source of encouragement and pretend my motives aren't entirely selfish. Hi!

"Dad! I can kick his ass myself, thank you very much. Put the shotgun away."

Poor MM. He's waited her whole life for the shotgun on the porch moment, and pfft, redundant.

Oh there was swearing. There was much swearing.

Check, ice and tape next.

I think having to jam my shoe back on it doing the same thing as taping but if I ever get home, I am going to actually tape and then it's all about the ice, ice baby.
