There's more than one way to skin a cat. And I happen to know that's factually true.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Ow. I am very sore. Just from lugging groceries and stuff all over yesterday, I think. Yeesh.

What food is best for soaking up booze in your tummy? Breads?

When I started college, they gave us pamphlets that told us to eat protein to combat drunkenness. :) Yay, Georgetown.

Tonight, I'm making pasta sauce w/ sweet Italian sausage. I've also got a big pot o' chili simmering away. Tomorrow, I make chicken stew and Scotch broth

Mmmm. Tempting to go to Anne's house!!

my hair doesn't absorb Manic Panic well

Mine neither -- I tried it a few times in college, but it washed out after about a day and a half

Heh. The one time I used it (crayola red), I did it a couple weeks before Thanksgiving, and at New Year's, it was still bright red (the friend I did it with had it fade out by Thanksgiving), so I eventually bleached it out.

The wonderful man I am going to marry offered to buy it as a thank you for sharing the burdens of getting his business up and running.

Awww. Maria, you will look GAWRJUS no matter what you wear.

Also I like Kristin's friend Jay, and he should be a buffista now. Also, I have a friend that I think needs to meet ND. I think she'd appreciate him. I know she appreciates the thought of his leather kilt.

It took me until i saw "corned beef and cabbage" that i realized why the heck Laura's son would want green hair. Not that there's anything wrong with green hair.

I'm hating right now. HATING. Becuase this "friend" of mine is making me CRAZY--whenever I see something/someone I want, she immediately decides she wants it/her also, and it PISSES ME OFF. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. OFFA MY WOMAN, BITCH! (even if she's not "my" woman... yet!)

I'm breaking out in little bumps all over my arms. I'm pretty certain it's because I've been handling dusty boxes, but still...there are itchy little bumps all over my arms!

What is even happening?

They're possibly hives, and the dust is a likely culprit. Try not to scratch, as (at least for me) that tends to bring them out more. If you shower, try to keep the water on the cool side. If you can take an anti-histamine vw, it might help.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Get thee to a medicine cabinet for an antihistamine?

If I take an anti-histimine I'll get all sleepy. I'll try putting something on it and see if that helps. I've got some ointment stuff around here somewhere.

What the hell--is anyone else having issues with LJ? I normally have it set to not log me out, but when I just tried to go there, I was logged out...and when I tried to log in, it wouldn't let me. WTF?

See if you've got an ointment with cortisone in it, vw.

Robin, a very good friend of mine lives in Tucson (and is, I suppose I should point out, a real estate agent). He and his BF are good people. He moved out there about eight years ago.
