Pictures don't do it justice. I know I'm the walking billboard for My Big Fat Italian Wedding, but this dress is just perfect. It's not overly gaudy, yet it's not plain. They were going to add a detachable portrait shawl for the church. It was very Audrey Hepburn-ish.

I just got off the phone with DF. The team lost this evening so they won't advance to Nationals. He's coming home tomorrow morning instead of tomorrow night. Then he asked why I sounded blah. I tried to avoid telling him outright, but he was persistent and got it out of me. The wonderful man I am going to marry offered to buy it as a thank you for sharing the burdens of getting his business up and running. I'm crying again.
