In terms of the Republican; if this is a flaw in an otherwise good person - don't rule him out. Teppy appears to be very happy with her Republican at the moment. There is a well loved and admired Buffista I suspect of being a Republican. (Won't identify who, because s/he has said publicly that s/he does not want his/her politics known.)

Tep's single. Unless she's SECRETLY DATING BOB DOLE.

There are, however, Buffistas with Republican SOs and family. And, of course, Closet Republicans and Republicans in Exile from their Party. (Anne and Deena spring to mind for the latter.)

Then there are Indies and Libs. And recovering Libs. And stuff.

Teppy is single, but I would swear dating a Republican. Maybe I've got it wrong - but someone has been talking on the board about a Republican she is dating who seems to be one heck of a good guy.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I'm pretty sure there is no Republican Teppy Boyfriend.

If there is, I better get to meet him, but I think there isn't.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

There is no Teppy boyfriend, no Teppy lover, no Teppy fuckbuddy, no Teppy awkward first date. As far as I know.

Tep's single. Unless she's SECRETLY DATING BOB DOLE.

We're just good friends. Really.

Secret Republican Teppy Boyfriend? MADNESS!!

Is there anything more demoralizing than browsing personal ads while overhearing one's roommate having sex?

Ooh. That's pretty bad.

I had dinner with Kristin! And the DCistas! It was YUMMY. Also, hot. And cool.

Now I"m trying to decide if I go to bed early because I"m feeling tired, or if I cowboy up, power through, and go out dancing for some peoples' birthday.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Yep.

Right now, I'm trying to get up the energy to change into my pajamas. I think I'll spend most of tomorrow sleeping.

Sleep sounds good. If it wasn't for my underwire bra I could just turn off the laptop, roll over, and snooze.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Teppy, I think Libby might fight you for Bob.

Laura, yay for puppy rescuer and young but competent animal control officer.

~ma for Susan's dad and calm-ma for Susan.

Yes, not just because there might be particulars about depanning it or whatever, that you'd like to have it-doesn't-matter-this-time practice for, but also, because you'll get cake sooner.

Excellent point. This is my Sunday project. Breaking in the birthday cake pan.

How's O's mouth, today?

Better, but he's slightly feverish and I don't know if it's the onset of a cold or if it's because of the teething. He's acting normally during the day and our sitter had no problems getting him to go to sleep tonight. He adores her and she is the sweetest girl. She said she accidentally woke him up while she was checking on him but she got him right back to sleep.

I've discovered another pair of pants doesn't fit me. My only "good" black pair of dress pants with the tab waist band and flat front and flared legs. Although since they're now too big, this is a good thing.

meara - Mar 11, 2005 5:45:43 pm PST #6109 of 10001

Hey, pants not fitting because they're too BIG? This is usually a good thing.

I think I'm going ot be lame, and go to bed early. I think I would probably enjoy myself if I went out, but...I just don't have the energy, and I know it would mean I'd be more tired than I want to be, tomorrow. And more rushed trying to do all the things I need to do. But...partying! Sigh. Freakin' adulthood.
