Spike's Bitches 22: You've got Angel breath
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I have had two friends that have had it... both are really happy with the proceedure. both of these woman are happy with thier lives and felt the surgery made HUGE differences - well woth the food restrictions. one of my friends has to be a bit more careful than the other, but no regerts.
I just took Toto outside to pee. He gets a treat after our long walk if he does all his business. I don't normally give him a treat after just going out to pee. But, we just got inside, and he gave me the sweetest little look, and I thought of that poor puppy that's outside Laura's house, and I gave him a treat. He's got me wrapped around his little finger.
I said all that to say this, I hope the puppy either calms down soon, Laura or that animal control comes soon. Poor thing!
I scrolled back and saw that the parasol is $45. Not bad for such a lovely piece. I may have to treat myself before summer.
Because the Buffistas have all the knowledge in the world:
I'm going to England, to visit my cousin. She has asked that I take along food, for she is missing US-ian foodstuffs. I can't figure out what terms to enter on google to get useful pages.
What should I take? Also, if anyone has done this, how much can I get away with packing (ie-and get through customs)?
She has asked that I take along food, for she is missing US-ian foodstuffs.
Ask her what she wants. When I went to visit my college roommate in England, she rattled off a long list of American candy that she wanted.
Peanut butter and Oreos are the must-haves for the USians I've visited in the UK. For Russia it was tortilla chips and salsa - don't know what the availability of those things would be in England.
Chilidog, but that might be messy. Asking for a list is probably your best bet.
I've only brought stuff back, but I would think packaged foods wouldn't be a problem.
Usually the only restrictions are on meat, fruit and vegetable products, but highly processed foods like Tabasco or catsup are usually okay.
She said mexican is hard to come by. So I'm taking salsa and a "southwestern" spice mixture. I also got PB and Girl Scout Cookies.
Hmmm...so, then, "as much as I can fit in the suitcase" is fine? Shiny.
