God hates divorce... but murder? No prob.
Prosecutors alleged Wednesday that a well-known carpenter and former Christian school leader strangled his wife so he could pursue relationships with other women.
"It's very clear that ... divorce was not an option, that it was frowned upon by the Lord, he believed," Assistant Dist. Atty. Brandon Jones said. "This was the easier way out for him, rather than divorce."

Wow. Well that's horrifying.
when they're dying for an excuse to stop the job-share program anyway.
Why do I suspect that this may be related to the extra responsibilities they just dumped on you.
I'm really sorry about the morons, Kristen. Humans: mistake or disaster?
People are fucked up. They suck.
Frank, they've been systematically heaping more and more on us, so I wouldn't be surprised...but in this case, I've learned that it's even more pathetic than that.
See, they don't actually do their own jobs; they schlub off work onto a few teachers who are willing to do craploads of extra administrative tasks because of the position of power it gives them. This decision was not even made by the admin...it was made by the arbitrary teacher-on-a-power-trip who is making the schedule and who believes that the job sharers "have it easy".
Hate.
This one thing alone wouldn't make me so furious; it's just that it has become a pattern.

The fact that people who do crap like this still call themselves Christian pisses me to no end.
Kristin, I am sorry, that sucks so bad.
-t, are you pregnant and I didn't know it? If so, congrats!
IME, the best option to cover that awkward "transitional" phase when the regular clothes don't fit any longer and the maternity clothes don't fit yet are skirts with elastic waistbands and leggings. Hell, I'm at 8 months and my non-maternity exercise pants still fit.
Thanks, Burrell. (Eta: and yes, I am. Communication is hard)
I only have trouble clothing myself for work - all my business clothes were pretty tailored. I bought a few maternity things to get by on, but I have to wash them every couple of wearings, and I haven't this week.
