Spike's Bitches 22: You've got Angel breath

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Ew!

Coding and Sleeping

I caught up on Daily Shows last night and was pretty amazed by the court-room reenactments.

Up with the sun

I'll have to bring my A game, though, as opposed to B plus like today.

If Sgt. Randy is a PIO, you can bring your C- game and it will be fine -- his job is answering questions. Seriously. Crazy, annoying people don't wonder if they're being crazy and annoying, so worrying so much proves you are neither.

And about MJ ... are we sure it's literal pajamas, or could it be just pajama-looking wide pants? His style sense would certaiinly allow for the latter.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I read that he had just come from the hospital.

It was jammies and slippers. He showed up late because he had gone to the hospital for back pain. May end up being tossed in jail for it. At the very least he has pissed off the judge again, and frustrated his lawyers.

I need this trial to end, or to stop watching television news, soon.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Hecubus, you're a god among men, in case I've not said that lately.

I can't tell you how much I love those Johnny Angel columns. It's The Way Things Work in the land of crime.

Just reading that short Fixer piece about Matty the Mechanic tells you more about LA and the porn industry and gangs and prison life than a whole volume of police reports.

Always Anti-fascist!

Dude, you're a defendant. Cut your hair, buy a suit, maybe some glasses...it's what defendants do. Yeah, you're right, LJ. But I expect I'll get a hold of a Practical Homicide first. (Picturing self on List for getting one from the library)

Up with the sun

He showed up late because he had gone to the hospital for back pain.

I am terribly cynical, because I read that as "He needed a painkiller fix, and his personal physician wasn't being obliging, and too bad if it held up the business of the court."

The dude has not just issues, but subscriptions.

(OTOH, the family testifying against him seems really sleazy and dysfunctional. But being sleazy does not prove they were not abused, just as having subscriptions doesn't make Jackson guilty.)
