I think Emily should love the lampshade.
I like the lampshade, but I have a weakness for shiny bead things that dangle and catch the light.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Cool. Well, I can always send it back if she hates it.
Also, FINALLY FOUND BRAS AT TARGET! What's so difficult about cotton underwire bras? I've searched for a week for them! Then I remembered that someone here said that Target is wonderful for bras.
Love the lampshade.
Strangest Muzak I've heard: "Another Brick in the Wall".
Love the lampshade.
Yeah, I really do too. And one of our lamps just desperately needs a new lampshade, so I thought it might be kind of fun.
J just called. She's having a rough day. This may be a rough evening/night.
I heard "I Wanna Be Sedated" in muzak once. Had to collapse against the side of the elevator. My liftmates must have thought I was having a siezure.
Weirdest Muzak version I ever heard? Kenny G. Because -- WHY?!?
Pink Floyd, Careful With That Axe, Eugene
No. I'm not kidding.
You win!

Mine was weirder. I win.
I had important musical comments to make. They disappeared, as I tried to imagine the South Pacific dance remix.
Cashmere, tell them you want a new one, and that's that. They'll replace it. If they offer to "fix" it, refuse, and say they need to give you a new one that isn't messed up.
Oh, I know...about the music. A while back, Lyra Jane linked to that Bowling for Soup 1985 song/video in her LJ. Since that time, I've seen the band on TV, performing that song.
NOW? Kids' Bop has a version.
