[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

Am I the only one who read Lilty's post and thought she meant Tim Minear, and was fairly puzzled until the "army' thing made me put two and two together?

Oops! I never even thought of that! Maybe I should start calling him Army Boy to avoid confusion.

ION, gronk.

raises hand

And I didn't figure out until your post that it wasn't, because I somehow missed the army mention.

Lilty - are you around (and not working) Sunday? I'm heading up to Maine this Saturday and going back Monday (unless Saturday is completely craptastic, weather-wise), and was thinking about heading into Portland Sunday night.

It is supposed to snow on Saturday, FYI, Frank.

At least according the last night's reports on the Weather Channel.

Well, I was initially going to drive up to Presque Isle for the weekend, but since the weather is supposed to be so craptastic, there's a decent chance I will be around.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

My interviewee for the morning appears to have stood me up. I'll have to reschedule. Bleech.

I got out the dustbuster to try to deal with mist of ground coffee that covers the kitchen if one forgets to put the bin in the burr grinder. I sucked up ground coffee, then decided to empty the dustbuster. It was stuck. After considerable work, it suddenly opened, spewing dustbuster guts all over the kitchen. I put it back together and started vacuuming up all the assorted gray fuzz and old pretzels from inside the dustbuster. Then I thought I should empty it again. It's stuck. I'm hiding in the office.

See, Deena, it doesn't require a Kara to destroy one's house.

The weather is supposed to be coming up the coast, so depending on when you were heading out, you might be well ahead of it - Sunday is supposed to be nice.

Very interesting. The things I'd learn if I paid attention to the weather!

Anyway, if you think you'll be around, e-mail my profile address with a way to get in touch by Saturday morning (when I hope to head up). Otherwise, have a great weekend.

How far up is Presque Isle? Is that top o' the state? I used to know this but I'm totally drawing a blank now.

Me too- I went to work yesterday morning with non-waterproof sneakers, a light sweater, and no umbrella.

Me a fool.
