I love that song, too. It makes me want to get the soundtrack, except I have this whole thing about how I should know the story before I get it, and "Wicked" has been on my list of things I should read for, oh, about five years now.
But the song is pretty and inspiring, in a fairly non-Hallmark way.

The kind that is on the bottom floor of 3 stories worth of $250,000+ loft condos on the river, just north of downtown Grand Rapids, and is run by people who figure that a vending machine would detract from the homey feel of the place. Grrr.

I do both parts, for now. She'll be trained to do Glinda in time.
And now the real reason I wanted a daughter comes out - I needed a Glinda to my Elphaba and a Cosette to my Eponine.
Connie, as far as your mullet fears -- I vote see a really good hair stylist and ask him/her to come up with something. Then get someone cheap to maintain.
Lyra, I never finished the book and still love the music. You should get it.

Took K-bug to the orthopedist today. Her pinkie is broken, actually the bone chipped near the second knuckle. They splinted it and told her not to catch for 2 weeks. Such a relief after the drama of last year's break/casts/surgery.
Lyra, the musical *resembles* the book. You don't have to read it to enjoy the soundtrack. In fact, I like the musical better than the book.
