Hey, I've been in a firefight before! Well, I was in a fire. Actually, I was fired from a fry-cook opportunity. I can handle myself.

Spike's Bitches 22: You've got Angel breath

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

We knew that already.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

That rocks, Aims. She is ridiculously cute.

And Ginger has a new tag.

Awww! Baby!!

Stealing adderall from the students? Now that's crazy.

I had a yummy dinner. And then cereal. And now I'm very very full. But I slept in late, so I don't want to go to sleep. Stupid Mondays.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

But I slept in late, so I don't want to go to sleep. Stupid Mondays.

That's me, every Sunday night. With the added, "Crap, I slept too much; now I'll never get to sleep" feeling that makes it even less likely I'll get to sleep.

But I am all tuckered out from walking around in Chinatown, so maybe that'll help....

Forget it, Tom, it's Chinatown.

Aimee, that's so cool! t sniff I miss Emeline! And her mommy and daddy too.

Now, really. Who thought it would be a good idea to get up and write a paper three hours before it's due? Oh, yeah. That'd be me. Not one of my smartest decisions.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Congrats, vw, you're officially a slacker. Have you gotten the t-shirt? They're really quite nice, especially for a last-minute thing.

YAY! I'm a slacker!!! This is so exciting.

Nope, I don't have the t-shirt, 'cause I don't normally do this. I should get that, though, huh?

What is even happening?

Poor Kristin, and poor vw. Too bad Kristin isn't vw's teacher. They could make a "deal" about deadlines.

vw, you're still going to get an A, because that's your gift, baby.

So, Cindy -- how old is your niece? I imagine (though I honestly don't know) that late teens/early 20s is the fuzzy area where the effect switches.
Meaning, your niece may have nothing to worry about.
She's 12. I don't have any plans to mention this to her folks. I'd just never heard of the med before she went on it. I might even be wrong about which med she's on. Her dad didn't want her on it. Her doctor did, and she wanted to, too. They talked her mom into it.
She was not prescribed it. She bought it off friends, so she was using it entirely recreationally.

The family is okay. It's worry-making, but at least the months of trying to figure out what the hell was wrong are over.

Knowing what it is makes it a little easier to understand how she was kicking academic butt while going through all this. So much of what you could tell us sounded like an eating disorder--particularly since she was excelling while falling apart. Continued good hopes for her, Robin, and for everyone.

As we were waiting for the train on the platform, Eric McCormak, his GORGEOUS!! wife, and very very very cute son came down and were waiting as well, GO _____!1 Marathon sign in hand. I took Em out of her stroller and he pointed her out to his son and said, "See the tiny baby?" And then I held the elevator door for them and then they held it for us.

I did not go apeshit. TOTALLY my favorite show in the world and I did not go apeshit. I am so proud.

You're a cool number, Aimee. I don't even watch it these days, and yet I think I would have gone complete fangurrrrrl.
