I could squeeze you until you popped like warm champagne, and you'd beg me to hurt you just a little bit more.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

vw, if it's not too late, don't dry them, and wash them again. Keep washing, 'til the stains come out. If you dry them, the heat may set the stains.

Yeah, I did this. I washed them in hot water twice, the second time with some bleach. They seem ok. The pillows are done for, though. I took one sniff of those things and stuck them in a trash bag!

ok. made the CI cupcakes. that is a grown up cupcake - nice rich dark chocolate. way better than average. I put a mocha butter cream on them.

Have the Buffistas found the perfect cupcake recipe or something? There's been so much cupcake talk lately...

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Cupcakes are the new pie.

It's not *exactly* cupcakes, but I really want this pan so I can make the perfect little cakes. Aren't they cute?!

Baby bundts! Those are adorable.

ION, there is now a contract on the house. Now all I have to worry about is the inspection. Erk.

That's wonderful news, Anne! I'm sure the inspection will go fine. Wow! That all happened so fast.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

vw, that's a lovely pan. I don't use my mini-Bundt near enough. Makes such pretty dessert.

there is now a contract on the house

So what do you do? Call the cops and get protection? Urge the house to run for its life? Stand and fight? What?

vw, that's a lovely pan.

I first read this as "vw, that's a lovely plan." And I thought, plan? What plan? Is my memory really that bad? Clearly, it is. Looks like my reading could use some work too.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

vw, that is an adorable pan. You should link to such things before get togethers when I am trying to decide what to get you rather than after. ;)

ION, I seem to have picked up a stomach bug. I feel very icky.

Trust my rage

I bought a Honda Pilot yesterday. It's a beautiful car and does exactly what I need it to do for a price I was happy with. My dad is visiting and we drove it to the beach yesterday. The dogs played on the beach while we walked a bit. Then we had a wonderful plate of crab legs, clams, shrimp, corn on the cob and sausage. We drove home watching a really pretty sunset.

Then, after I had parked my new car in the garage, I closed the garage door. However, the car was a bit longer than I realized. As it just so happened, there was a metal bracket sticking out of the inside of the door and it left a 12 inch scrape line down the back of my brand new car. :( (I don't usually use emoticons, but I feel I deserve one here.)

My dad is hoping that if we wash and wax the scratch, maybe it will help.
