Spike's Bitches 22: You've got Angel breath
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Is this the house where we spent 4th of July with you? That was so much fun. Your parents are wonderful.
Yes, it is. And, yeah, that was lots of fun. My parents really are wonderful. I'm very lucky. The house is even nicer now, if that's possible...they've been painting, and it looks so lovely. Also, mom's been getting more things up on the walls. Since our last name is a season, she's decided that she can keep that season's decorations up all year-round, so she's got a "Winter Wall" upstairs. It's really beautiful and kinda cute of her.

As long as she doesn't feel the need to use actual snow....
The flower show is always beautiful, although it tends to give me grandiose visions of what my yard would look like if I had a lot more time, money and energy. The gardens are the best part, although there is fun to be had snarking at the very strange flower arrangements. There's some category of flower arrangement that produces arrangements made of a bicycle wheel, a shoe and a stem of bird of paradise.
I like staying in hotels that are close to home just for a night - esp if they are luxery hotels. mini vacation. have a nice dinner in the room with a good movie or a good book.
Me too! I ended up staying at a local hotel the night before our last conference, because the weather folks were forecasting this huge storm, and registration was in the hotel, so it just seemed like less stress to be there. Tom stayed too, and it was really a lot of fun. We ate at a local restaurant (we were actually in Emily and vw's neighborhood) and watched Lost in bed, and had a lovely time.
Ginger, if I was
anywhere
near Atlanta, I'd take you up on the tickets. Dang, I likes me a good flower show.
Reminder to self: move south when retired
Stumbles into thread with cup of coffee. Waves and sits in corner.
Chocolate Cupcakes:
So if you're choosing a flight between Northwest, Southwest, and United, does it matter?
ETA: Oh, or Independance. And it looks like Independance flys into O'Hare, which I hear is better?

You could come down next year. I'd like to see the Philadelphia Flower Show sometime.
G'morning.
Two Lumps decided to celebrate Bitches' Day as well. PIE!
Lilty - I love United, but I would avoid O'Hare if at all possible. It's always a zoo and frequently had delays (in my experience). i also hate Southwest because I think people get super-pushy where there are no assigned seats, but that's just my personal issue.
EVERY day is Bitches Day!
Sounds good to me, vw. I hope I didn't sound too terribly ungrateful last night. Bitches' Day is never a bad thing.
Lilty, I wish I could be more helpful but I choose airlines bases solely on who wants to seperate me from the least amount of my money. Sorry.
Ugh. Still sick. Not that I thought I'd be healthy when I woke this morning, but still. And I just pulled the last tissue out of box #2. Suck.
Excuse me now while I go stomp around the house getting dressed for a trip to the local drug store. So much for staying in bed all day.
