Oh, it was, it was!
The rain is over, but I love the shushing sound cars make as they go by on the street. And my hair is cooking to a nice bright red shade, and as soon as I am done washing the dye out, I am going to have a nice soothing meal of mac and cheese, which I had a sudden desire for today.
To dye, to cheese, to dream -- ay, only if I had a neck rub!
Not sure how I'll handle another baby, though (when the time comes).
This is one of the reasons ours are so far apart. I'm great with one baby (and I can function well on very little sleep, too) but two babies? Or one in diapers, and a baby? Uh-uh. I know my limits, oh yes I do.
So Jilli, how did your outing go last night?
I ended up wearing a corset, because I felt slumpy & frumpy and knew a well-fitting corset would make me feel better. I also wore a very flowy black tulle skirt, and a high-collared overdress with a batwing point hem over the corset. And a giant black velvet Mad Hatter hat a friend gave me.
Now that I'm out of back-to-back meetings, I am going to try and find food. Wish me luck.
LUCK!!
I gave blood and didn't throw up or anything!!
Go Aimee! Woo-hoo!
Good luck with the food, Jilli.
Zucchini bread with cream cheese counts as food, right? I did have a small (MUCH smaller than I thought it was when I packed it last night) tomato & mozzarella salad about an hour ago.
Low blood sugar not good when you're trying to edit error messages for clarity, let me tell you.
When, WHEN am I going to learn that when a baby is taking a nap, you always remove all phones and/or turn off the ringers?
I was cruising through my to do list while Annabel slept until the stupid phone which I was stupid enough to leave in the room rang. And she probably would've stayed down another half hour were it not for the noise!
t pounds head against wall
Really, the angst is my own fault. If I hadn't procrastinated like a procrastinating thing the past two days I wouldn't be stressing out. As is, DH is all, "I went to work early today for a class, so now I can come home right at 5:00 and spend time with the wife and baby girl." To which I reply, "Take baby girl! Wife have deadline! Leave wife alone!"
