I have to go pick up a new garbage can at Linens&Things after work. It's all picked out and paid for, I just have to pick it up. Why does that seem so hard?

If I do it, I will reward myself with pillows. And possibly ice cream. Because I can't have beer, and I am filled with the urge to go running down the hall yelling "BEER AND A NAP! BEER AND A NAP!"

No, I'm whining because I got a notice that I will not be getting a raise or bonus this year due to a very skewed performance review and I want to go home and pour myself a big glass of wine. I did take a sick day yesterday, but the dread of coming to work and staying here has not faded.
