Spike's Bitches 22: You've got Angel breath

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I don't like green vegetables, but I do like health, so we eat a lot of boring frozen mixed vegetables--that way the healthy stuff is more palatable for picky me. Steam them with a little soy or balsamic vinegar or plain butter and yum!

Potatoes, carrots, corn and squash

carb-laden wretches, the lot of 'em.

The common denominator of all the recipes you folks have listed is "what to put on the veggies to make them taste good." I see a trend.

Dude, they know you and your husband in the emergency room by your first names. This vegi-stubbornness ill serves you. Now go eat something green before I sprinkle spiders on your meat supply.

Chinese food makes me eat things I might not. Yum, Chinese food. Snow peas in their pods, lots of cabbage, and I still want it.

Hec, I appreciate your "Scared Straight" tactics here (your parental experience serves you well with that) but there's no cause to do that to Jilli! She likes vegetables!

It's more of a what to put on veggies to make them taste even better thing. I will note that most meats are also improved with a dash of seasoning.

One thing that makes me sad is that raw veggies don't taste good to me or agree with my stomach at the moment. I love raw veggies, and not being able to eat them cuts down on my intake something awful.

I grew up in farm country, I know what walks across my meat supply. Stop freaking out Jilli, ya big meanie.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Thomash and Juliana are unreasonably perky.

My apologies. Direct!boss just admitted that she went all control-freaky this morning and didn't give me enough of a chance to correct a problem. I'm all giddy from the unexpected validation. I'll be more gloomy from now on, I promise.
