[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Can I get an amen on the incredibly frustrating day? ((Hil))

One thing that did help me today was the guidance of a very frank, frankly callous (emotionally), friend who said stuff that started with 'Screw'em' and ended with 'This is not your business. Get combat pay.'

She's right, I suppose. Being all honorable and shit makes me feel good about myself but doesn't really apply to my friends' business decisions.

It is a travesty that the Inn has been sold to nutbars but...hey...choices. Now I guess MY choice is to figure out how I can navigate the transition without draining my own energy and turning into a wingeing (how DO the Brits spell that excellent word?) idiot.

Thanks for the good thoughts today Bitches. Can't say I won't come back to the bracket buffet later but, for now, I'm on an even keel.

I adore all you motherfuckers so much -- PMM.

Beej, both `whingeing' and `whinging' are acceptable spellings, with the former being slightly preferable for more pronunciation cues (obvious soft `g').

I'm very sorry for your job difficulties; people who actually live "do as you would be done by" are in short supply in these times, it seems. I'm beginning to feel a little like Diogenes.

Always Anti-fascist!

I don't know...does (fundamentally) honest count? Maybe you could grade on the curve?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Beej has a new tag.

I just saw Emo Philips. If you have a chance to see him, do it. He's hilarious.

"You guys are cheering me up, thanks. I need cheering up; my cousin died last week. He was 23. He was stung by a bee. The natural enemy of the tightrope walker."

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

Sims Update: My Sim was abducted by aliens while stargazing, and did indeed return pregnant. Unfortunatly, this morning, little Walt (I was hoping for a girl I could name Elphaba) was taken away by child services because he was failing out of school and generally unhappy. His brother, Sayid, is doing quite well. Mom and Dad aren't doing too well, as Mom has goals of making "WooHoo" with as many people as possible, and made "WooHoo" with a Skater Boi, while in their bed. While he was home.

Across the room, my roomie is pleased with her Sim's level of fame, as she now has an obsessed fan, who is beaten up daily by her butler Alfred.

Goddamn game.

This is so weird.

I just wrote what I considered a pretty funny post about integrity being thin on the ground around here and not owning property on the moral high ground...then some demony thing took hold of my curser and ate the whole post!

::considers stumbling over to Tech to ask WTF? slinks off to bed instead. But, I'm tellin' ya. You shoulda been there!::

All is well that ends in pizza.

I'm looking forward to hearing that Daniel did well on his interview this morning.

I did well on my interview this morning. Robert Half, Inc, will be arranging an interview with the actual client, possibly next week.

Very very tired right now, as I got up extra early, drove 50 miles, then interviewed, drove 50 miles and then went to work for 8-1/2 hours, then went to the grocery store.

Airing out the knee. May have had too much dressing, as there are too many dead white corpuscles for something that should have just scabbed over by now.

More later. Sleep now.

Our wings are not tired.

Good to hear Daniel. Uck, I am all too familiar with that kind of scrape. Striking the right balance of airing out and slathering with antibiotic goop is tricky.

Mostly lurking...

Good on you for the good interview, Daniel. I hope something comes of it.

askye, that comforter set is just gorgeous! I'm so excited for you.

Timelies all! I had a really difficult time getting out of bed this morning, but the migraine is really toned down, so that is nice. I've got a busy day today.

Ooooo...my coffee pot is beeping. Coffee done. Coffee good. Must get off couch and get coffee.
