Oh, wow. This place looks great. Oh, I feel like a witch in a magic shop.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I wish I'd had my iMac at the time; I'd've done soundtrack CDs for everyone in the show. All of us got together and tossed at the director every song we could think of with a Good night, Good morning or Shakespeare reference, and she picked her favorites. Purty stuff.

Emily bought pretties for the living room. I got to open them even though she's a work. She has good tastes. I can't wait to hang the sconce she bought!

Edit to add the pretty link: [link]

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Aaah. Okay. Damn you, Emily! I knew that one sounded familiar, but it's hard to Google when it's not exact! STOP MESSING WITH MY MIIIIIIND.

"Except the mermaids--it's the very place for mermaids."
"Who are only human beings down to the waist--"
"And who can't be said strictly to set foot anywhere. Tails they may, but feet they cannot."

I'm ready for the next one. Hit me again, thou heav'n born maid.

Ooooo...and here's the blanket she bought: [link] It's all soft and cozy. I'm snuggled up in it right now, AIFG!

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Ye gads. Leave for half the day for an appointment, and it's blah blah blah baseball.

Cindy, are you keeper of the preggo list? Fiona's got baby #2 coming at the end of August.

Phew! The cat's out of the bag on that one. (Signed, found out a month ago while lurking elsewhere.)

Wow. That blanket looks like it would make a lovely dress.

Leave for half the day for an appointment, and it's blah blah blah baseball.

Interspersed with blah blah blah Pirates.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Pretty sconce. Pretty blanket. Pretties.

I think I'm ready for a nap.

Thrive to spite them

Amy -- Tallahassee FL, it's very pretty here.

If you want to see flowers the best time to visit is mid Feb - late April. Also, the best time to visit before the heat hits. I've heard of people coming here in late April and May for spring, but by May we have summer. Actually spring weather runs mid Feb to April ish. Summer weather runs from May to mid October and then Fall is end of October through December/January. We may have about 14 days nonconsecutive days of really cold weather.

In fact I have to watch the temperatures because it's going to get hot enough that I'll worry about ordering melty stuff from Lush.

It's been in the 70s but still cool enough in the mornings that I run the heater a bit.
