[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Maybe they're reading the Redneck edition.

Compassionately intolerant

Very good questions JZ.

It turns out that it isn't even the asshats that are being dishonorable. The wifeof the co-owning team...the one who take Bartleby out in the morning for godsake...had some hysterical fit about 'what if something happens!' between closing on the house and emptying it (which would have been very, very easy to do in June simply by not taking any more reservations. Which would have meant disappointing about 20 people as opposed to the now required 130 people.)

What if something happens? The house has been open, incident free, for 30 f'ing years. Plus, isn't that what insurance (that they already have in spades) is for?

I'm frankly bewildered. And hurt. And thinking there is not enough money in the world they can pay me to make those hundreds of phone calls and bear all that disappointment.

Frack.

Given her mindset, it was probably something like "One of our loyal employees/clients, whom we're shafting by selling out to nutbars, might take revenge on us."

Oh Connie. Bless your heart. You actually made me laugh. Quite a feat at the moment.

Revelation indicates that the antichrist will be European or possibly an apostate Jew.

Oh, so not Spongebob Squarepants then?

Gronk. I miss you guys. I plan on doing nothing but lounging in front of the computer for a few hours. I think I need a laptop.

{{{Beej}}} I'm so sorry.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Windsparrow's new tag is taken from something JZ said to, I believe, P-C, about his thesis writing. For those keeping track at home.

I love Connie's descriptions, they bring to mind such lovely visuals.

Timelies. A wee bit of insomnia last night and I can't seem to get functional fast enough this morning. Stupid insomnia.
