The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Me too on the wide awake, which sucks more than usual, since I need to get up at 6:00.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I'm awake, but I'm not supposed to be. I'm heading to bed now.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Lucky Liese. I'm no closer to dreamland....

And there's nothing on TV.

Our wings are not tired

I'm thinking it might be time to curl up under a blanket in front of the TV and see if there's stuff on the Tivo worth watching.

All I've got is several episodes of American Chopper (DF's soap opera of choice) and last week's West Wing. Oh, and ESPN's 25th anniversary broadcast of the 1980 Miracle on Ice. Maybe I should pop in a DVD, but that seems too much like work.

Poor sicky Buffistas!

Timelies all!

Looks like I'm not turning in the final paper today afterall. I've got some factual stuff wrong, which I HAVE to fix. Thank God for Allyson who caught it! She also asked some great questions that I should answer. Some will have to wait till I expand on the project, 'cause there's just not room in this paper. But, some need to be explored now. Oh, how I love the Buffistas, though, and their willingness to help each other out. This really is going to be a wonderful paper.

I have a test today in the stupid class. I studied for it a couple of hours yesterday, but I really need to get my butt in gear and answer the take-home essay portion of the test. I've been putting it off and off. It won't take me long, but it needs to get done.

Other than that, I've got my big meeting with my professor/advisor today about expanding the Buffistas/Bronze project. I'm excited and nervous all at the same time. I really hope he thinks I have enough/can get enough to make this thesis-worthy. I really think it is. There was so much I wasn't able to explore in the way that I wanted to. And actually, Allyson gave me a few more questions that could be answered in that bigger scope of a project.

Boy. Apparently I'm chatty this morning...that or avoiding my take-home essay...

edit: Sail, I LOVE that post. It's just so Buffista.

What is even happening?

Sees mess is already tidied up. Spies Sail sneaking out of the thread. Slips a gift certificate in her pocket, for her favorite coffee shop.

vw, you're going to share your paper when you're all done, right? I'm so curious to see how it all fleshes out.

Absolutely. I'm going to PDF it and toss it up on the web somewhere with a note that things will be fleshed out more in a project with a much larger scope.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Happy birthday, Lysana.
