[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Mostly lurking...

Total change of subject, bringing the thread to mememe :)

So far I've made it to all of my classes this semester. I'm going to try really hard to not miss any classes. I mean, if something comes up, I'll miss. But, I'm trying really hard. I want some kind of motivator, though. I need some ideas on some sort of "treat" I could give myself if I make it through the semester without missing any classes. Anyone got any thoughts?

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

When I feel I deserve a reward, I always go to the bookstore and spend $X (X varying depending on my budget and how big a reward I think I should have) on whatever most strikes my fancy on that day.

brillig

It's all well and good to discover that Paul wasn't the mad-eyed, raving, misogynist I always thought, but I somehow doubt that new view is going to change the minds of the folks who wish wimmen would jus' shut up already and go back in th' kitchen and get him a beer.

I'm a fucking amazing catch!--Fiona Gallagher, Shameless(US)

It's true, Connie. And I know there are people that teach it like that.

Dinner out somewhere a step nicer than you usually go?

My teevee presidential staff is my woobie.

I don't know what I'm going to do next year when the staff will be of a radically different makeup (or off the air entirely).

Frankly, once I've lost Toby, CJ, or Charlie? Not so much interested any more.

I have SO many books I already need to read. I could get some stuff off my Amazon wish list, though.

Fabric for another quilt?

I've got fabric for three...maybe I should just give myself some time to actually work on them!

Dinner out somewhere a step nicer than you usually go?

I could torture the Somervillians and make them go with.

A short vacation in Ohio?

Oh, I wish! I'm still trying to work that one out. It's just that it's so close to the end of the semester that I'm worried I'll just be swamped. I'm thinking about it, though.
