Both act as H1 antagonists, though, right?
Yeah, they do. I was thinking they might have different side effect profiles, but they both have pretty strong anticholinergic activity. Have you ever taken any other antihistamines before, Kristin? Or is it just Phenergan that's given you the bad reaction?
Thanks everyone. I'm going to try the wrist thingies. I appreciate the suggestion.
Off to crawl into bed.
Ginger (the food, not the Buffista) is supposed to be good for nausea. Maybe suck on some crystallized ginger?
Hi Aimée!!
My turn to say g'nite... So sleepy.
I want to second the ginger recommendation. (Ginger is always good.) When I got seasick, the people on the boat gave me ginger pills and they really helped.
That said, many women say that the loosening of the joints in general can be uncomfortable.
Heh. Yep. It's all in a good cause, but it can make it hard to walk.
I probably had this to a lesser degree than average, but yeah, it's annoying.
It's almost exactly a year ago that I got put on bedrest. Now I'm 6 lbs. below my pre-pregnancy weight, and you could technically say Annabel is walking--she'll take one or two unaided steps to get from one handhold to another, but she can't get much further without toppling. Time flies.
Time does fly - it's almost been a year since Emeline was conceived.
Since Christmas, my weekend "shopper" newspaper has become a monthly in my house. Oh, they still publish weekly, but for some strange reason, I am only getting it every fourth.
During the shopperless weekends, I have diligently called up the newspaper on Monday or tuesday and inquire as to the whereabouts.
Sometimes I get one deposited on my front doorstep soon thereafter, sometimes not. Usually it is far too old to take advantage of any "bargain" classifieds, even if i wanted something.
On the 12th of February, I actually got the shopper on Saturday. Wow.
But again, I was to be disappointed, and two weeks in a row was not to be. I have left my message, once again, sounding very dissapointed, at the newspaper. The grocery store ads come in the shopper, and if I have to wait until Tuesday or Wednesday, it gets a bit late to plan my shopping.
Oh, and the location of the newspaper office? 514 N Central avenue. I live at 521 NW 1st Avenue. Their parking lot stretches behind their building to 1st Avenue...right next door, to my south.
With all the carriers picking up their papers, you'd think someone would be able to drop off a shopper
in the paper's own back yard.
