Spike's Bitches 22: You've got Angel breath

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I'm very glad that the crippling pain (it was also nausea inducing) I was experiencing around my pubic bone let up after that weekend. We never did figure out if it was a mild problem with the public symphysis area, or if I'd strained my bladder. (It started on a Thursday, and I talked to my clinic on Friday--public symphysis problems or bladder issues being their best guesses, with the former seeming more likely to them than the latter--with standing orders from them to go to L&D ASAP if the pain came back at that level. It didn't, so we haven't really bothered following up on it.)

That said, many women say that the loosening of the joints in general can be uncomfortable.

Heh. Yep. It's all in a good cause, but it can make it hard to walk.

Hi, I'm back home on the Right (as in East, as in correct for me) Coast.

Oh, the adventures we have had.

The Good: Hanging out with Tom's friends, meeting their (almost) 2 year old daughter.

The Bad: getting food poisoning the second day of vacation, and developing a cold (either from the germ machine aka Toddler Erin or the plane) on the way home. I've been trying to catch up with the thread but Tom keeps ordering me back to the couch to rest.

The Ugly: what a health feeb I am, and whatever is awaiting me when I return to work tomorrow.

I probably have more to say than my general, now-standard whining, and I'll think about it and get back to y'all tomorrow.

But seriously, hanging out with Erin and her parents was quite awesome, and more than balanced out the health yuckiness.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

{{{Nora}}} I'm glad the fun part of the visit balance out the yuckiness, because that yuckiness sounds quite yucky indeed.

The bedroom is all painted except for the trim, and the wallpaper scraping project which was slated for tomorrow is also done!

Tomorrow is just a little bit of trim and touch-up, and then I have the ritual burning of the painting supplies.

OK, I have to go to bed because I am sick, so Tom tells me.

Also? So very very tired. See you tomorrow.

Now tagless for your comfort.

{{nora}} get better quickly. Also, that Tom, he's smart. Listen to him.

for those NGA. So. Damn. Funny.

Mom's still in the hospital. Turns out she's not taking in enough oxygen for them to wean her off of it yet. However, she had a consultation with a specialist for her diabetes so he'll help her a lot getting that under further control. With any luck, she'll be home by mid-week.

I am much, much better this evening than I've been in a couple of days. Managed to eat some real food tonight.

All is well that ends in pizza.

My workplace is in an old shopping mall converted to businesses, as opposed to retail shops. The old mall common halls make a good place to take my walks during breaks in the day.

Daniel, not that this is the only place in the world with a shopping mall convereted to businesses, but are you working in Owatonna? I know they did that years ago when the mall really started to fail.

No, this is in Faribault. "Faribault Town Square"

Cool about the music, though!

Yup. Today they were playing "Indian Lake" by the Cowsills during my first break, amongst other songe.
