[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Ooh. Competitive Peeps torture.

Oh, -t, that's wonderful!

Curious about Sims. Is it good? Is it worthwhile? Will it suck up all my available time and make me fail all my classes and skip Algebra?

Yes, yes, and yes. (I installed it on my new computer Saturday, and was reminded of why I had waited five months to do so -- I'm perfectly capable of happily spending eight hours a day playing it. And I only have through "Hot Date"; I'm sure it would be worse if I had more expansion packs or Sims 2.)

I told her last night that she's not allowed to get it. Not that she's going to (or should) listen to me, but...

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Break a leg, Deena.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Huh. Googling "Marshmallow Peep Microwave Jousting" produces 133 matches.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

I'm sure it would be worse if I had more expansion packs or Sims 2.

I got Sims 2 and I think that my machine isn't quite great enough for it, because it can be really slow. But it is wonderful, and if I let myself, I can literally waste an entire day. Or three. We've been taking a break.

ETA: Aww, I wish I hadn't eaten all my peeps now.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Well, he's quite pleased with it...except for a little of this and a little of that. I told him that his little bits here and there could add up to another 10 hours and he sighed and told me to go ahead, but that he sent it out for comments from various members of management, and I should wait to implement the changes until I'd heard from everyone.

I have never liked peeps, but I'm feeling some sympathy for their toothpick injured selves.

I never got into Sims, but I was severely addicted to Baldur's Gate. I'm jealous of Gud for getting all the way through 2, but also a little gleeful that it's still ahead of me (when I have the time to get it working).

What is even happening?

Apparently, the honors coordinator, at her former job, would have jousting tournaments. They got really into it and wasted much time doing it.

I think you meant to say they got really wasted for much of the time doing it.

Thrive to spite them

I have Sims 2. I'm not very good at it, so far 2 of the characters have had to get visits from a therapist (he drops out of the sky). And I think my monitor is too small because with all the boxes and stuff clutter up the screen too much. But I've had fun with the Body Shop making all kinds of Sims.

This weekend I realized that since I switched to taking one of my meds in the morning I've been forgetting it most mornings. Today I remembered, but not yesterday or Friday or Saturday.

Up with the sun

What's Baldur's Gate? It sounds questy, which is probably why I've never heard of it.

Bwah! Maybe that too!

askye, I've had that trouble with meds too. I had to get myself a week-long med holder thingy. It really helps.
