Buckle up, kids! Daddy's puttin' the hammer down.

Spike's Bitches 22: You've got Angel breath

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Because books.

A little more 'ma for my dad, please

brenda, how old is he? My mom just had her second knee replaced two weeks ago -- it's a tough surgery, and a tougher recovery. And they don't keep patients in the hospital anywhere near long enough afterwards these days. Much ~ma winging its way to you and him.

The rib cage expansion can stick just enough to keep them a size above.

Is that what happens? Because I'm now a 38 but a B, which is tricky to find. Big back, little boobs.

Extra-strength ~ma for connie and DH, too.

What is even happening?

ichy and can't take enough to stop the pain is enough to say - we need to revisit.
Yeah. I'm going up there tomorrow and I'll have some words if they havent' corrected the situation. In the mean time I'ma sic my mom's best friend on them, as she is well versed in pain management, mental disorientation, and fighting with doctors and hospitals.
I hope she gets it taken care of, today. If they don't listen to her in person, maybe you can make a phone call? They need to stop that medication right now, in case he's allergic. If he is, the allergy is going to get worse with each exposure.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

~ma to you and your dad, brenda. I'm glad there are people around who can administer a good cluesticking, if necessary.

Thanks, ladies. I seem to do nothing but vent here lately. The car will be repaired and life will go on. Though I still think the universe needs to back the hell off of all of us.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

If they're too small can't you get an extender for the clasp (assuming it's a back clasp)?

It's not the bands (yet) it's the cups. But I'll keep that in mind.

Susan gossiping by proxy is making me giggle.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

All this bra talk is making me want to go to Lane Bryant and spend a few hours trying on bras. Well, okay, not want to spend the few hours, but I've learned the hard way that I *have* to try on a bra before I buy it. Not to mention I'm betting Lane Bryant doesn't have the amazingly helpful alterations lady who will put teeny-tiny darts in the bras you're purchasing to make sure they fit you perfectly. I think the alterations lady only lives at Nordstrom.

(Yes, I'm trying to distract myself from the work that has to be finished by tomorrow. Don't wanna edit things right now!)

Always Anti-fascist!

Ah, "Needless Markup."(I say it that way because the first time I ever went it was with my drag queen attendant and he called it that.) So now it is Needless Markup forever for me.

Depends. Do you live someplace warm? Are there nice people? Will you keep her in better than the style to which she is accustomed? Are there babies? I gotta look out for the v-ster.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

I normally go to Nordstrom for bras, but I'm going to wait until I get to my goal weight, as a way of telling myself that I really am sticking to the diet this time.* Until I get to where I want to be, jeans are coming from Costco and Value Village, and bras come from places where they're under $50 a pop.

*Despite the fact my lunch today was a chicken bacon club, fries, and non-diet soda from Kidd Valley. Um. So I have cravings sometimes.

Hmm. DH did a little investigating, and it sounds like one of the vacancies is actually a brand new position, but that there has indeed been much shuffling, probably at least partially motivated by FB avoidance.
