Timelies.
Go vw!
Thanks for the earrworm, Cindy. I love Victor. I've got him on CD. I love the Dan Zanes song, too.

Love the fun stuff. We don't get noggin anymore, though. Not since Kara broke the DVR. We're going to have to call a repair person to get it back. Aidan's missing Maisy and the income tax refund is coming, so it'll probably be soon.
Update: page 5! 1,877 of 2,000 words! Go me.
Did I mention it's kinda crap, though?

Love that one! I also love
I'm a Little Airplane, Now.
Is that Dan Zanes, too?
And in answer to your query, due date for FNU is March 28. Both his father and I have March birthdays, so in a way I'm hoping he'll be late and born in April, but just not April 1.
Scott and I are both March babies too, as is his mother, and my father (and about 1/2 of my extended family).
Okay, so our baby estimated due dates look like this:
Raquel: March 28
Plei: April 24
Burrell: late April
Nonian: June 15
-t: September 16
Whee! Babiesbabiesbabiesbabiesbabies.
Cindy, how's the nose? I've had mine broken a couple times and I know it's not pleasant...but I've never had anyone to blame it on but myself, so haven't had to deal with kid-directed pain-related anger.
It's not feeling right, but not terrible, so I'm still inclined to do nothing. It looks mostly normal, and the swelling is only trace. I'm stuffy, but I am this time of year anyhow, so I don't know to what it should be attributed to. The anger passed quickly. I was just surprised by it, because I don't know that I've ever been actually angry at him, before.
I need to round up some psychic clue-sticking and direct it towards a friend - she's a single mother of an infant, and was working at the embassy in Tbilisi until a couple days ago, when someone threw a grenade over the wall of her house. It blew up her car and knocked out power and stuff. The gov't has pulled her out of Tbilisi for a bit, but I think she really needs to go someplace safer for her baby girl. I've known her for years, though, and I'm afraid she'll stay in this job, which is good for her career, although it puts her and the baby at risk.
Oh, dear. A gentle clue-sticking, and huge safety vibes, no matter where she ends up. I'm glad the gov't pulled her out, for now, anyhow.
Ooh, I just looked online at tommorrow's paycheck, and it's official: I now have a 401K.
This makes me feel more grown-up than moving out did. Weird!
6 pages, 1,973 words. Done. Well, except for revisions.
THANK GOD ALMIGHTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Deena, you got a couple minutes to take a look at this?
Yay, vw bug!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yay, vw! That must be a weight off your mind.
Raquel, could you post the recipe for macaroni & cheese carbonara? It sounds crazy yummy.
Go vw! Woo-hoo!
And yay for the 401k, Lilty. It's a very grown-up thing to have.
I meant to ask about the DVR, Deena. I was hoping it would have spontaneously healed itself somehow. Alas.
I was hoping it would have spontaneously healed itself somehow. Alas.
If Lilty can have an immortal fish, then Deena can have an immortal DVR. Though how the fish is going to hold the sword, I don't know, and a DVR's head would be hard to get to.
