Holy SHIT! So, I just bring the computer in my room, and obviously, Cat had pushed the door open sometime tonight, because Captain Jack's bowl was turned over onto its side, and water was all over. (The noise must have scared her off, though, because, while I've found stuff near his bowl knocked onto the floor before, she's never actually gotten to him.)
So, bowl is on its side with just about no water left, just little bits between the marbles in the bottom, and Jack is still there (this is how I figure she got scared off) but he's all still with Xs for eyes and shit. Dead. Dead dead dead. And so I dump my water glass in there, all panicky, because I'm all juiced on caffeine.
THE FUCKER STARTS SWIMMING.
brain hurty, actually. Yours?
eta: Go Captain Jack!
brain hurty, actually. Yours?
Ick. The same. I don't wanna be Visual Director anymore. I want the Personnel job. Personnel's never got to stay till 2 am setting up props.
t /Whiny and hopped up
Why can't people realize that our brains, while spicy, function better when less than five people are asking them questions at a time? Then, set us on chaise lounges and feed us bon bons?
I don't know, Lilty. I wish I did.
Ima lie down in case the drugs decide to work. I don't want to miss a window. May tommorrow be better!!!
Shakes tiny fist at world that hurts friends' brains.
I think Captain Jack might be a magic fish.
Captain Jack came back wrong.
PC, go you! That's fabulous! I think it's a sign for you. Make sure you listen.
Captain Jack came back wrong.
Bwah!
That bit of defeated feeling is back a little this morning. The paper still isn't written. BUT I did a ton yesterday, and I'm going to list it here so I can remind myself that I got stuff done that needed to be done and that it's ok. This was my own deadline. I still have time to actually get it done. I'd like to have it done, but it's ok that it's not.
So yesterday I:
- wrote a series of 8 haikus and revised them two or three times
*wrote a series of two tankas and revised them twice
*did laundry
*wrote a critical response to a poem of my choice from our anthology and revised it
*revised two other poems for class
*ate three meals
*walked Toto three times
*showered
*did dishes (albeit, not all of them, but still)
*went to therapy
*ran errands
*visited J in the hospital
That's quite a list for me. So, now I'll just see what I can do on the paper today.
vw, I would love to stay and talk, but I got tired from reading your list. I wonder whose going to get the children off to school while I sleep?
