[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

I think I'm young before my time.

I know! I'm actually engaged to be married. Unfortunatly, not until I'm 80. Then we shall move to Boca, wear knee socks and play shuffle board, and go to dinner at 3:30 in the afternoon. It shall be a happy time. If only I didn't have to wait through this so-called 'prime of my life'!

Hey, would it be a bad idea for me to date a 35-year-old guy with a 12-year-old daughter?

This 34 year old is going to have to say "go for it."

What is even happening?

Do broken noses always bleed?

Chris hit me across the bridge of the nose with a book, about an hour ago. There's some swelling but not too much. It still hurts though, and I don't feel well.

In other news, I have a new favorite.

Nah. I'm just kidding. Mothers don't have favorites.

That we admit.

Except for today.

Rotten kid.

Actually, I think the answer is no. I've had similar things happen to me that were very painful, and I'm pretty sure broke the cartilage away from the bone a little, and didn't bleed.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Cindy! Yikes! Are you icing it?

This 34 year old is going to have to say "go for it."

Heh. It's really more the kid than the age thing. But, you know, thanks for the backup. :-)

What is even happening?

I was icing it, but the ice got on my nerves after a while. Also, I hadn't eaten, so couldn't decide if the nausea I was experiencing was from a break, or from being upset, on top of being hungry, on top of being hormonal.

I don't need to see a doctor if it doesn't look too bad, right. I am guessing if it's broken, it's hairline sort of thing. Hurts like hell, though. My mother was here at the time, but has since left. I had to tell Chris to get away from me for a moment, because it hurt so badly, I couldn't deal with him.

Oh shoot, I have to take Julia to school, now. Thanks Sean and Kate.

Ouch, Cindy! Promise you'll get to a doctor if the nausea persists! And, when my sister broke her nose and orbit in 3 places (softball in the face) there was no blood really, just smashed face.

cribbage as "The Game"

Is there any other? I have a hand-carved cribbage board, and the DH and I came in 7th (doubles) at the World Cribbage Championship tournament a few years ago. It was great fun, and by the end of the first evening, it seemed like every old man in the place knew my name. There are fewer women who play in the tournaments, and very few under 60.

Hot damn, Sparky! You're, like, a professional!
