I LOVE Mountain View, Lee. They've just built some townhouses near downtown. In downtwon MV, you'll find my favorite restaurant (they also have a branch on University Ave in PA).
GOD. I miss living there.
When I was up this weekend, I took my friend J to see my old school. The head of school with whom I didn't get along is now leaving. Would I go back? I dunno.
Let me know if you want my broker's number -- he got me this place, but he works out of the Union Square office of Benjamin James.
of course, Lee. I love it there. I know all the yum breakfast places and which farmer's market is better and why (my fave is Menlo Park). I also know how to get a good seat at Cafe Baroni and where to walk along the Bay.
Man, I totally miss it.
To torture you.
Who put you in charge of the weather?
I like this one, and some of the others, and Mountain View is one of the places I'd look.
Nifty! I looked a lot in Menlo Park, since you did mention that upthread at some point.
If it ever stops raining, we totally should go horseback riding, Alibelle.
Yes! We totally should! I've been wanting to for four years, and so far it has not worked out. I think we'd have tons of fun.
Totally random (as I'm getting ready to do my taxes), I may be the only person who got paid not only from UCLA last year, but also USC.
Horses ok is a big selling point out here. Also, if you can use the water, big points for that.
And now for something completely different: Guess what? My building is on fire!
No, really, it's not. But a bunch of firemen and a big truck just pulled up outside our door from the fire station that is literally just across the street, saying that someone had called in or the police had called or something saying there was a fire at the Kennel or in front of the Kennel or something.
But there's totally not. And I didn't even notice the firemen until they were, like, stomping around outside. So if there was a fire, I would be dead now!
Kinda alarming, despite the lack of fire. In point of fact, it is quite cold, as the building we're staying in does not have heat.
Is there a craigslist for where you are, Liese? You need a new place, too.
Who put you in charge of the weather?
I'm not trying to torture you.
The powers that be are.
I'm over the rain. It's official. The fact that LA has gotten twice as much rain as Seattle this season so far proves that there is Something Very Wrong going on here.
